Cilaos cirque

Réunion is one of the world's great canyoning destinations. First-timers go for Fleurs Jaunes in Cilaos: a series of abseils between walls stained orange by minerals. Trou Blanc in Salazie is a natural water park of jumps and slides.

The season is the dry months: in the rainy season the water in the ravines rises within minutes and trips are cancelled. Wetsuit and gear are supplied on site.
